N'Tangled

N’Tangled is INQUIRE’s networking initiative designed to connect Quantum Information Science and Engineering (QISE) students and postdocs across disciplines and research groups at Northwestern. Through research spotlights, industry conversations, campus resource highlights, and informal social gatherings, N’Tangled fosters collaboration, professional development, and community across the quantum ecosystem.

Our programming includes:

  • Research presentations and faculty spotlights
  • Career and industry engagement sessions
  • Panels on campus resources and entrepreneurship
  • Community-building and networking events

Recent speakers include:

  • Heejeong Jeong, Head of Quantum Computing US, Pasqal
  • Lisa Dhar, Associate Vice President for Innovation and New Ventures
  • Michael Wasielewski, INQUIRE Director, Professor of Chemistry
  • Jens Koch, Professor of Physics and Astronomy
  • Prem Kumar, Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
  • Kate Smith, Assistant Professor of Computer Science
  • Mark Kazour, Research Safety Student Initiative (RSSI)

Quantum research rarely happens in a vacuum. It sparks when ideas collide, when disciplines cross-pollinate, and when students find collaborators they didn’t know they needed. N’Tangled exists to make those collisions easier, more frequent, and more fruitful.

Collaboration. Connection. Quantum.
